The Shady Lady, originally known as The Lil’ Ole Winemakers and
Beermakers Supply, is located at 2475B East Nine Mile Road, Pensacola,
FL. The store originally opened in 1978 by the Daughtry's
and was located on Cervantes St. Jim and Faye Carey bought the
store in 1991 and moved its location to New Warrington Rd. In
2001 it was sold and briefly moved to Navarre where it was operated
under new ownership. In 2002, Lynn and Shirley Veeder purchased
the store and moved it back to Pensacola. Courtney, their
daughter, ran the business and enjoyed it so much that she took
over. In December 2003, Courtney decided to sell the store
and continue her education. Long-time customers, Paul and Carolyn
Baker, are the proud new owners.
